Events at Dilton Memorial Hall are organized by the Memorial Hall Trustees to entertain and service our lovely village, while also raising funds through various fundraising events to maintain the premises in the best way possible.
There are frequently community events held at Dilton Memorial Hall, organized by local groups such as Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh CofE Primary School, and the Dilton Marsh Flower and Handicraft Show, among others. These events offer wonderful local activities and volunteer opportunities for residents.

PLEASE NOTE
NOTICE OF DATE CHANGE: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Dilton Memorial Hall has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 22nd July at 7:00 pm. We invite you to attend and demonstrate your support for this valuable community resource. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Trustees, Committee Members, Friends, and Helpers. Your contributions will enable us to better maintain this exceptional facility and provide more events for our vulnerable and isolated residents
SUMMER COMMUNIY LUNCH
Our Summer Community Lunch is nearly here. Everyone is invited — just make sure to book your place. We can cater for all dietary requirements. Come along, enjoy the day, and help spread the word. If you know someone who might struggle to get to the hall, offer them a lift so they can share in the fun.
TABLETOP SALE and POP UP CAFE
We now have a regular slot for our POP UP CAFE and TABLE TOP SALES, we have booked every third Saturday. To reserve a table for the sale, please use the button on here.
Our tables are yours to use for a tombola prize if you are able to donate.
The hall thrives with local activities and is supported by our community, creating a vibrant atmosphere during the coffee morning alongside our fundraising events.

Your involvement not only helps to sustain our vibrant community but also ensures that Dilton Memorial Hall remains the heart of local entertainment and engagement. Volunteer with Dilton Memorial Hall
Currently, there are 3 trustees managing and caring for Dilton Memorial Hall. The work is enjoyable and fulfilling as we strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members of our community. We host various community events that aim to provide exciting local activities and engaging fundraising events, along with numerous volunteer opportunities.
Fundraising
Fundraising is a critical part of our organization's efforts, particularly through various community events held at Dilton Memorial Hall. This venue is well managed and has the ability to fund itself. We host a range of fundraising events, including live music gigs, quiz nights, afternoon teas, seasonal celebrations, coffee mornings, and tabletop sales, to mention a few. These local activities not only raise funds but also create valuable volunteer opportunities for our community.
We are raising money to repair the flat roof at DILTON MEMORIAL HALL, and any donation will help make an impact.
We have recently fitted solar panels to help our hall become carbon neutral. Whilst the panels were being fitted the guys found that the flat roof is in urgent need of repair. To repair the roof, replaster the damp walls and ceilings and decorate to a suitable standard will cost in the region of £8-10,000. We are a small charity, we offer very reasonable terms to use the hall and we fund raise as much as we can. Our funds are limited and so we need your help to make these repairs and continue to offer a warm and welcoming hall to everyone.

My favourite thing about being a trustee for Dilton Memorial Hall is using its facilities for community events and local activities, as they were intended for the benefit of the village. Additionally, I enjoy helping organize fundraising events and promoting volunteer opportunities to engage our community.
