I'm married to my fellow trustee, Ray Jones, we are loving living in Dilton Marsh.
My favourite thing about being a trustee is seeing the hall full of residents and their friends and families having fun and enjoying spending time together.
At Dilton Memorial Hall, we are dedicated to fostering community spirit and volunteerism. Our mission is to provide a welcoming space for local events and activities that bring people together.
There are 4 trustees at present caring for and managing Dilton Memorial Hall. . The work is fun and rewarding, we like to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all members of our community.
Events are created and hosted with a view to providing different activities and exciting activities.
Fundraising is a critical part of our organization's efforts. Dilton Memorial Hall is well managed and has the ability to fund itself. There are events to raise funds, live music gigs, quiz nights, afternoon teas, seasonal celebrations, coffee mornings and tabletop sales to mention a few.
There is always room within the team at Dilton Memorial Hall for volunteers and members to join us to offer support and share the things that we do.
We are always looking for dedicated trustees to join our management team. Whether you have experience in non-profit management or are looking to develop your skills, we have opportunities for you.
If you have a specialized skill or expertise, we would love to hear from you. From graphic design to web development to legal services, we rely on volunteers with a wide range of talents to help us achieve our goals.
Events at Dilton Memorial Hall are organised by the Memorial Hall Trustees to entertain and service our lovely village and to raise funds to maintain the premises in the best way possible.
There are frequently events at Dilton Memorial Hall organised by Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh CofE Primary School, Dilton Marsh Flower and Handicraft Show and so much more.

CINEMA SESSION
The next Cinema Club will be 19th September, from 4-6 pm, we will be serving hot dogs, soft drinks and there will be a sweet shop.

Our tables are just £5 each, we do ask for a tombola prize if you are able to donate. Our hall is supported by our local community and has a thriving coffee morning vibe alongside the tabletop sales.
Come along to the Pachamama Sewing Day and help out, cutting out, ironing, sewing, tea making...anything that you can do will help. SATURDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER at Dilton Memorial Hall.

hosting an afternoon tea along with a special performance by our local, internationally famous family guitar trio, Serenata. They will present a widely varied programme of music encompassing the Baroque Era of England and Italy, the classical charm of Haydn, Mozart and Schubert, through to the expressive styles of France and South America.
